Resources for Kids on Lockdown

Updated: May 25, 2020

You will inevitably use an educational resource like iNanny during the schools closure. Here are my top resources to feel good about it:

BBC Bitesize has become our home-homeschooling saviour.

Story Time From Space: In-Orbit Readings and Science to Encourage STEM. My kids particularly like stories by astronauts with long hair, because their hair floats!

The Strings Club, my son's ever favourite holiday camp offers online uke/guitar/violin classes + music sessions. To help the 100 independent musicians that run their holiday camps.

Audible – Free audio books for kids.

Explore the world and see where you can go by dragging the yellow men on Google Maps. Can you go for a safari in Africa? We once landed on a man’s head in the Jubilee Gardens.

Or go on a virtual field trip with National Geographic.
